We now have 2 established sites in Nansledan! The SANG site by the carpark (opened June 2024) has been joined by our second site at Rialton, off Stret Pelyas, opened in August 2025 and plots were quickly occupied. This site – located amongst homes, surrounded by a Cornish wall and a 90m long newly planted hedge – has 18 allotments plots of varying sizes including a specially designed accessible plot for those with mobility issues or visual impairment (note this plot will be available later in 2026). There’ll also be a newly planted orchard with a variety of trees and saplings to encourage wildlife plus a small landscaped green space as somewhere to sit. There’s lots of planting still to be done including trees but the site is already transformed thanks to the plot holders hard work. The first Rialton crop was harvested less than 2 months after planting!
If you’re interested in an allotment in Nansledan, get in touch to be added to our waiting list. NOTE plots are prioritised for Nansledan residents and those directly connected to Nansledan through close family or work.
